God’s Word Of Encouragement

God has good plans for us

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

God is telling us that He has great and awesome plans for us. He doesn’t have any thoughts against us. Some people feel that God wants to either punish them or give them a miserable life. That is not true. God loves us so much that He only thinks about us in favorable ways. The bible says in 1 Cor 2:9 that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. We must be confident that Gods plans for us are for peace, a wonderful hope and future.

The bible says in Rom 8:31, that if God is for us, who can be against us? If God did not spare His Son for us, why would God not with us in His Son as Christians freely give us all things? So let us trust in God and ask Him for the things we need since He knows what we need before we need them.

We must always remember that God is willing to bless us and He is able to bless us. He only has good plans for us and not plans to harm us. He wants to give us abundant life to the fullest.

Overcoming fear

2 Timothy 1:7 -For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of a sound mind. This verse is telling us that fear is not from God, but is an evil spirit. If we allow fear to control or influence us, we are allowing an evil spirit to control or influence us. The devil will only lead people to the wrong destination of trouble, disaster, missed opportunities and failure. So anytime we fear, we give the devil access into our lives to cause trouble in our lives. This is why Job said in (Job 3:25) that the thing he had always feared had happened to him. You will see from the bible that whenever God sent an angel to people and they were afraid, the angel would always say, “fear not”. When Jesus disciples wear afraid, He always told them not to fear.

God has given us the spirit of power, love and a sound mind. Anytime fear is present, power to proceed, power to act, power to do what we need to do is absent. Also, fear removes love since you cannot have fear and love at the same time. The bible says in 1 John 4:18 that perfect love casts out fear because fear has torment. Many are afraid of punishment and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. Fear torments you and puts you in a cage. Job said that the thing he had greatly feared had come upon him. Fear has a way of bringing negative things into peoples lives. Faith is having confidence in God and in His ability. Fear is having strong belief in what the devil can do to you or a belief that things will not go well. In the presence of fear, sound mind is taken away since there is no peace of mind. Fear torments and puts a lot of stress on people.

The bible says in Heb 2:14-15 that, “Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage”. This verse is saying that Jesus had to become human to be able to die and then break the devil’s power of death. By doing this, Jesus was able to deliver all Christians who were in the past, afraid of death and therefore were slaves to fear.

We must decide not to fear anything, including the corona-virus, but rather, rebuke and bind the spirit of fear in the Name of Jesus. As we walk in faith all impossibilities would be made possible and God would protect us from every evil.

All things will work together for our good

Romans 8:28 -And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

Have the God kind of faith

Mark 11:23-24 -And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
