Jesus said in John 3:3 that except a person is born again, they cannot see the kingdom of God. This is because we were born into the kingdom of this world and into sin. For us to see the Kingdom of Heaven, we must repent of our sins and be born again into the Kingdom of Heaven. To repent means to turn away from your sins in your heart and in your mind. The kingdom of God is where we have to put on the new man, created to be like God in righteousness and true holiness.
In Romans 10:9-10, the Bible says that if we confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe with our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. This is because we are made righteous or right with God by having faith in Jesus Christ and then we are saved when we confess what we believe about Jesus with our mouths.
We must believe that Jesus shed His blood on the cross for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead after the third day. Now if you want to be saved, you can read aloud and confess by faith the prayer below:
“Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for my sins. I believe that His blood was shed for my sins. I believe that God raised Him from the dead on the third day. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and come into my life. Please be the Lord of my life. Forgive me for all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. From today, I belong to Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for saving me. In Jesus Name. Amen.”
